School Curriculum Policy

The main objective of education is the total development of the learner, i.e. physical, mental, socio-emotional, moral and spiritual. This scheme of the curriculum provides scope for encompassing all types of behaviour in an integrated manner.

The list of general objectives is given below:-

  • To enable the children to acquire new knowledge
  • To enhance language ability by using language skills
  • To develop scientific temper in children i.e., habit of exploring and experimenting and in the process discovering new ideas and skills.
  • To encourage children to develop their creative abilities
  • To encourage the children to develop thinking skills
  • To acquire the ability of doing fundamental Mathematical Operations and to apply the same in everyday situations
  • To instill in the children the sensitivity to pick up socially acceptable behavior in order to adjust well to their social environment
  • To develop an aptitude for aesthetic appreciation and interest in aesthetic activities i.e., art, literature, music, dance etc.
  • To develop an understanding of physical and social environment
  • To develop a sense of National Integration, Patriotism and Global Brotherhood
  • To develop a respect for time honored Social, Moral and Spiritual values
  • To inculcate a positive self-concept in children

The number of teaching hours is stated under the 'Guided learning section'. Cambridge IGCSE syllabi are designed on the assumption that students have approximately 130 guided learning hours per subject over the duration of the course (normally two years). Sports & Games

Physical education is an integral part of the curriculum. Students have a unique opportunity to be trained in cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, lawn tennis, chess and carrom.


Dance

Allows students from grade 1 to 7 to experience a wide range of dance styles enabling them to develop their interests and equip them with the skills and techniques to perform at their full potential. Students build confidence and work upon their intra and interpersonal intelligence.
